Just like other adverbs, adverbs of frequency are a type of word that adds additional information to verbs. In this case, it focuses on the frequency of an action.
Some common adverbs of frequency are, Always, Sometimes, and Never. Although there are many others and they all range in frequency from Never to Always. It is also good to note that we use never and always frequently for exaggeration. For example, I always eat healthily.
Examples:
Never = 0%

Rarely = 5%

Seldom = 10%

Occasionally = 30%

Sometimes = 50%

Often = 70%

Always = 100%

To ask a question we normally use the phrase: How Often.
How often + Auxiliary verb + Subject + verb?
